Prayer that moves mountains

We are thankful to partner with many of you in various ways. The most important task we can ask for help with is the labor of prayer. We are asking God to do a work that only He can do in Japan.

Prayer Update Nov. 2026

Over the last few months we have watched God work in ways that is leading us to consider moving up the start of our church plant. With that news the next year is looking to be the most intense since moving to Japan. Please pray for the following for us in the month of November.

  • Pray for wisdom from above regarding the next steps in organizing the Church Plant. God has been bringing together a group of Japanese locals to join with us in this venture. The legal and logistical tasks are intimidating and asking God to pave the way ahead.

  • Pray for us as we begin to look for the location of the church plant. We are hoping to find the best location to allow us to effectively reach Osaka.

  • Pray for a number of individuals our family is in gospel giving relationship with. Some of these names are Hide, Joe, Kyou, and Sarasa

  • Pray for our kids as we are looking to move them over to a Christian School moving to Osaka next year.

  • Pray for Amy as she has been heading up an ESL outreach. Amy often has opportunities outside of class with these individuals which has led to a number of gospel opportunities.
